Looking to make a change in your life? Well, look no further than our winter training programs! We have two great programs coming up that you may want to consider joining.
Our New Balance-sponsored No Boundaries Beginner 5K Training kicks off tonight, 12/3, at 6pm. This program is PERFECT for beginners. In fact, it's designed for that level of runner. Over the course of the training, we'll take you from essentially inactivity to running a 5K. We're training for the Viniterra Race for the Chocolate 5K at the New Kent Winery. What better reason to run than for wine and chocolate, right? In addition to running, we'll also hold several informational clinic on topics such as injury prevention, nutrition, and proper running technique. Registration is $100 + tax, and we can register you tonight at our kickoff. We hope to see you there!
Additionally, our Monument Avenue 10K training is also right around the corner. This 10-week program will prepare you for the iconic race held on Saturday, March 28th, 2015. Similar to the 5K program, participants will also experience several informational clinics about pertinent running topics. However, this program is not meant for beginner runners; if you're considering signing up, you should be able to comfortably run 3 miles. Training kicks off January 14th for that program, so we hope you'll consider joining in on the fun!
