Meet The Team

John Cassilly- Store Manager

John likes to say that he got in with the "wrong crowd" after running his first marathon in 2006 - "I started running ultra-distance trail events."  John was a runner in high school but ironically, preferred the shorter events - up to 400m.  "I've served as a pace leader for the Richmond Marathon for the past 6 years and love helping people realize their goals."  In his spare time, John likes spending time with his wife, daughters, and their dog Enzo.  They also enjoy sampling the amazing Richmond restaurant scene, travelling, and camping as a family!

Jason Driscoll

Jason has been an active member of the Richmond running community for the past 2 years after moving here from Northern Virginia.  In college he competed as a cross country and track athlete at the University of Mary Washington and also assistant coached there for one season.  Here in Richmond he enjoys long runs utilizing the James River trail system and racing in the occasional 5k or 10k. Jason is a self-proclaimed "big nerd" when it comes to running shoes and loves to use his experience to help people find the right shoes for them as well as give training advice to beginners and veterans alike.

Seth Huffman

Seth is a native Virginian who has recently moved back to the glorious commonwealth after a few years of seminary in the Midwest. He has had experience running middle-distance indoor/outdoor track in high school and has developed a love over the past 5 years for distance running on roads as well as trails. He completed the 2013 Blue Ridge Marathon in his hometown of Roanoke and has a fond passion for running in the mountains of Virginia. As a recent newlywed, Seth and his wife enjoy running and exploring the various parks, trail systems, and roads of Richmond. When not running or talking about running, he enjoys cycling, reading, music, and finding new coffee shops in Richmond. He is happy to meet your running needs and goals, and he will probably ask you about your favorite running, walking, hiking, and cycling routes.

Spencer Blanton

Originally from Richmond, Spencer moved back after college in South Carolina to be closer to her family.  In high school, she participated in tennis and track, which led to the completion of her first half marathon in 2012.  Since then, she has continued to play tennis and run.  When she is bored, you can find her wandering the aisles of Target debating if she needs any of what she has picked up.
She absolutely loves being a part of the Fleet Feet family and helping the Richmond community be more active!

Emily Stroetzel

Emily is a recent addition to the RVA community from Annapolis, MD. She found her niche in running after exploring other forms of exercise to embrace a healthy lifestyle. Since moving Richmond she has joined Seal Team PT and has never felt better. Prior to Fleet Feet Sports, Emily worked with Charm City Run on their Event Management Team. When not running, she enjoys traveling, hiking, visiting breweries, and sitting on the beach. Emily is very excited to apart of Fleet Feet Richmond Family and can’t wait to see you in the community.

Jordan Campbell

Relatively new to RVA, Jordan is a West Coaster who spent the past couple years doing public policy research and writing in DC. In high school Jordan was an avid cyclist, but got the running bug in college, where he joined the Portland State University track and cross-country teams as a walk-on.  Since moving to RVA, Jordan has enjoyed exploring the trails down by the James and checking out the local breweries!

Daniel Shull

Daniel grew up in Mill Creek, Washington just north of Seattle, and moved to Richmond for graduate school at VCU. While at VCU he studied biomedical engineering with a focus on running footstrike patterns where he gained insight into the running culture and mechanics behind running.  He has enjoyed not only providing shoes and apparel to aid athletes, but also aiding everyday people to pursue and achieve their goals to live a more healthy and active lifestyle.
