John comes to us from Charlottesville, VA where he worked as a manger for Ragged Mountain Running Shop. Though an avid Cross Country & Track runner in high school, at Virginia Tech he was a member of the road and mountain cycling teams. Nowadays, he enjoys a nice lazy trail run, bike rides, and hikes. John is excited to be a member of the Fleet Feet Team and is ready to help you with any of your running or walking needs!
John likes to say that he got in with the "wrong crowd" after running his first marathon in 2006 - "I started running ultra-distance trail events." John was a runner in high school but ironically, preferred the shorter events - up to 400m. "I've served as a pace leader for the Richmond Marathon for the past 6 years and love helping people realize their goals." In his spare time, John likes spending time with his wife, daughters, and their dog Enzo. They also enjoy sampling the amazing Richmond restaurant scene, travelling, and camping as a family!

Allie grew up in the Catskill Mountains of upstate New York, and moved to Virginia to attend Mary Baldwin College. She fell in love with the state and decided to pursue her law degree at the University of Richmond. She picked up running as a way to stay healthy and get out of the library. Allie has since finished a marathon, as well as several half marathons, 10Ks, and 5Ks. She credits her dog, Scout, for being the most motivating running partner, no matter how early in the day it is. When not studying or running, Allie enjoys hiking, reading, and searching for the best brunch in Richmond. Allie is thrilled to be a member of the Fleet Feet team and loves hearing customers' stories and helping them achieve their running goals!
